Ephsol Childrens Fund was established as a memorial to Mr Joseph Solomon Kunadu, a man deeply passionate about the development, education, and welfare of children. The name “Ephsol” is derived from his names JosEPH and SOLomon - symbolising a legacy rooted in purpose and continuity, much like Joseph as a predecessor to Solomon in biblical terms.

Joseph’s commitment to supporting children began in the United Kingdom in 1995 and later extended to Ghana, where he single-handedly sponsored the education of orphans through further and higher education. His dedication transformed many lives and created lasting opportunities for those in need.

In continuing his vision, Ephsol Childrens Fund has expanded its reach beyond borders. Today, we support orphanages in rural communities within the Ashanti Region of Ghana, as well as an orphanage home in a remote area of Jamaica. Through these efforts, we strive to uphold Joseph’s legacy by empowering vulnerable children and giving them access to education and a brighter future.
