Our Journey

‘No child left behind no matter where you are’

Our Journey – Giving Hope and Changing Lives

Since 2013, our mission has been rooted in one simple belief: every child deserves care, dignity, and opportunity. What began as support for orphanage homes in urban Ghana has evolved into a deeper commitment to children living in some of the most deprived and often forgotten rural communities.

Today, we proudly support:

Anja's Children's Home

Banko, Ashanti Region, Ghana

Located in the remote village of Banko, Anja's Children's Home supports children growing up in challenging circumstances, often without access to basic necessities such as education, healthcare, and nutritious food. Through the generosity of our supporters, we help meet these urgent needs and fund the education of individual orphans, providing not only support for today but hope for a brighter future.

St Monica's Children's Home

Chapelton, Clarendon, Jamaica

In 2016, our journey led us to St Monica's Children's Home, located on the outskirts of Chapelton. The home currently cares for 21 children aged between 5 and 17 years, providing a safe place for children who would otherwise have nowhere to turn.

The rural location of the home means resources are often limited, making the support of our donors especially important to the children who live there.

Nipa Hia Mmoa Orphanage Home

Kwamang, Asante Bekwai, Ghana

In April 2026, we expanded our outreach to support Nipa Hia Mmoa Orphanage Home, which provides care for 55 children aged 4 to 18 years. Operating from an incomplete facility, the home relies heavily on community goodwill and local support.

Despite uncertain access to food and limited resources, the children live together in unity and joy, supported by a dedicated local founder who is committed to their wellbeing.

Matilda's Foundation Home

Nkoransa-Ampabeng, Ashanti Region, Ghana

Established in 2023, Matilda's Foundation Home currently cares for 77 children aged between 3 and 22 years. Every child attends school and receives care from dedicated caregivers, supported by volunteer healthcare professionals who help meet their medical and wellbeing needs.

With the help of our donors, we provide these homes with essential supplies including educational materials, clothing, bedding, non-perishable food items, toiletries, and basic medical supplies.

These are more than simply donated items. They are lifelines that bring comfort, stability, dignity, and reassurance to vulnerable children.

We take great care to ensure that every donation makes a genuine difference. All supplies are carefully sourced and delivered directly to the homes we support, working closely with trusted local partners to ensure transparency, accountability, and meaningful impact.

At least twice each year, a member of our Board of Trustees visits the homes in Ghana or Jamaica to meet the children and hear directly about their experiences, needs, and aspirations.

Through structured discussions and engagement activities, we ensure that the children have a voice in shaping the support they receive. Their feedback helps guide our programmes and ensures that our work is focused on what matters most to them.

Guided by the professional expertise of our Trustees, this feedback forms part of our Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), helping us measure outcomes, evaluate impact, and continuously improve the support we provide.

Most importantly, it helps ensure that your generosity is changing lives in meaningful and lasting ways.

Together, we are not just supporting orphanages; we are building futures, restoring hope, and reminding children that they are not forgotten.
